Company History

Mr Ghasem Naseri, the founder of Naseri Saffron, began trading “red gold” in Mashhad in 1960 near the largest saffron farming region in the world.

Years later, heeding their father’s advice and with great enthusiasm, Mr Naseri’s children followed his path, and each took charge of a part of this business in procurement, sale, marketing, etc., under his leadership.

Incorporating science and technology to the family business tradition, Naseri brothers managed to establish a specialized and Acrodite saffron laboratory. Employing food industry experts and scientists, they have successfully acquired all the necessary domestic and international hygienic and standard certificates.

For more than a decade, Naseri Saffron has been awarded the model Iranian exporter for providing dozens of countries with original first-grade saffron and raising awareness about its medicinal and nutritious properties.

Relying on quality and customers’ trust, Naseri Saffron Group has achieved industrial endeavours and successfully developed Naseri brand in the region and worldwide through innovation, instituting R&D, diversifying saffron products, setting up standard storehouses, updating specialized laboratories, attending specialist saffron products fairs domestically and internationally, and constant improvement of products packaging.

With over 60 years of experience, Naseri Saffron Group under Ali Naseri supervision, continues to increase production and exports by adopting new strategies in marketing and branding while following its main objectives. To achieve this goal, Naseri Saffron brand and company have been registered in UAE. In addition, a department specializing in consultancy, sale, and saffron products was established and added to the group.

Naseri seeks to provide its customers with a totally organic product by signing contracts with farmers and producers.
